Prayers for Peace is an open-source framework for grassroots peace circles of all faiths and traditions. Host your meeting scripts and guides here, read them together on your phones, or print copies to pass around. Borrow from other circles, adapt what you find, and contribute your own.
Prayers for Peace exists to help grassroots efforts for peace. We believe peace grows from the ground up, in neighborhoods, parks, and small gatherings of ordinary people. No membership, no headquarters, no permission needed.
Start a circle. Choose a tradition. Pick a meeting place. Pull up your meeting script on your phone or print a few copies, and gather for song and shared intention, ending with a candle lit for peace.
Each circle has a meeting script you can use as is or adapt.
Park canopies and gazebos are ideal: open, peaceful, and easy to find.
About 10 minutes of instruments, ribbons, and campfire singalongs everyone can join.
